Windows Vista Parallel Installtion

    A Parallel Installation is the method of installing Windows Vista onto a diferent partition or harddrive onto a computer that already has a copy of Windows Vista installed. This method is generally used by computer technicians to retreive data or attempt to fix a current corrupted Windows Vista install. Please note that a parallel install of Windows Vista will require you to install onto a new parition or harddrive. To do a parallel install use the instructions below.

1: Boot up your computer.

3: Press any key on the keyboard when the message Press any key to boot from the CD or DVD appears on the screen.
4: Allow Windows Vista setup to run up to the Where do you want to install Windows screen.
5: Choose a different partition or harddrive then what your current Windows Vista is install onto then click the Next button.
6: Allow Windows Vista setup to finish as needed.

Windows Vista Startup Repair Installation

    The Startup Repair Installation is the method to reinstall some of the windows files that may be corrupted and causing windows to not boot. This method isn't like a full installation in that it wont reinstall everything. This method is just used to try to recover an unbootable install of Windows Vista. Windows Vista Startup Repair Instructions

1: Boot up your computer.
2: Insert the Windows Vista DVD into your DVD or Blu-Ray drive.
3: Reboot the computer if needed.
4: Press any key when the message Press any key to boot from the CD or DVD appears on the screen .
5: On the next screen setup your language options then click the Next button.
6: On the next screen click on the Repair Your Computer link.
7: On the Windows Recovery Options screen click on your Windows Vista install on the list then click Next.
8: Allow the Startup Repair tool to run and follow instructions as needed.

Windows Vista Upgrade Installation

    The Upgrade Installation allows you to upgrade Windows XP to Windows Vista. Please note that earlier version of Windows and even some versions of Windows XP will require you to do a clean installation. Before any upgrade you will want to contact your computer manufacturer and if possible any software vendors to verify what steps you will need to take to get a successful Windows Vista installation. To perform an Upgrade Installation use the following steps listed below.

1: Boot up your computer into Windows XP.
2: Insert the Windows Vista DVD into your DVD or Blu-Ray drive.
3: On the Install Windows screen click on Install Now.
4: Follow the setup instructions to finish the Windows Vista upgrade.

Windows Vista Uninstallation

    Windows Vista does not include a tool to restore your previous operating system and because of this we wont list any steps on how to remove Windows Vista. Generally you will need to do a clean installation to remove Windows Vista and reinstall your other operating system.
